About Matthew J. Hudson
Matt practices primarily in the areas of civil litigation, divorce and family law, real estate transactions, criminal defense, juvenile law and estate planning and administration. Matt regularly represents clients through the phases of litigation, and has significant experience with positive outcomes for his clients.
Education and Clerkships
Matt graduated from Iowa State University in 1994, and from Drake University Law School in 1997. In 1998, Matt served as Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Judge Phillip R. Collett, Chief Judge of the Eighth Judicial District Court of Iowa.
In addition to his significant prior service to the community, Matt currently serves as Board President on the Shelby County Medical Corporation Board for Myrtue Medical Center. Matt also serves as a Board Member on the Harlan Community Schools Education Foundation Board and the Regional Board for Iowa Legal Aid.
